Ira Cheifetz, MD, FCCM, FAARC

Ira Cheifetz, MD, FCCM, FAARC, is the chief of cardiology and cardiac critical care and the associate chief quality officer for patient safety at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and The Congenital Heart Collaborative. He holds the KeyBank-Meyer Family chair and is a professor of pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Cheifetz completed his pediatrics residency and pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at Duke Children’s and earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Cheifetz is an international speaker and has over 200 peer-reviewed publications and chapters in pediatric cardiac critical care, critical care, and respiratory care.
